Join me as together we experience the roller coaster ride of internal medicine residency! After four years in the Failure Factory (affectionate term for my medical school), I'm ready to move forward on the conveyor belt of doom into residency. Sure I hated med school, but residency promises all the allures of 'Scrubs' (minus the glamorous actors, enjoyable dialogue, theme music, time for personal hygiene, etc). Watch out internal medicine, your ranks are about to get polluted!
Judging by most of your "typical" days, my response would be - it's only going to get worse...however...it WILL END! It's not forever. It's a significant slice of life...but it's not the entire pie! I will coordinate with the 329ers and figure out a care package. I think you need one!
